If you’re one of those who use their iPod as much as your toothbrush, you’re likely to know the horror of having your little white buddy scratched or marked up. iPods are not cheap, and it’s a good idea to keep your investment in good shape for as long as possible. I recently upgraded my old 2nd gen iPod to a 4th gen B&W and decided I needed to get a decent case for it. I started reading reviews on ilounge.com, and was somewhat overwhelmed with the amount of products on the market. Eventually, I decided to go with this skin/case.

The case is easy to put on the iPod, but I was a bit confused at first, as I didn’t want to break / rip the silicone. The instructions are inside the skin, which is also somewhat strange. Aside from strange packaging, the iSkin is easy to install onto your iPod. Slip on the skin and insert the screen protector, and you’re ready to go.

One thing I did was uninstall the plastic “belt clip holder.” I don’t usually attach my iPod to a belt, and the plastic adds a bit of bulkiness, but i’s easily taken out.

Some people will complain that this skin doesn’t protect the iPods controls / click wheel, which is true, but I don’t think this is a large issue, as it will get a decent amount of wear and tear anyway.

Overall, I have been very happy with 2 months use of the skin, and it works and protects your iPod very well.

I just purchased the touch screen 8GB MP4 player from Pro Ebiz LLC. Shipping was quick! Here’s a short review from the one I purchased… some of the previous ones sound like they were/are faulty……

SOUND:
The instructions are fine… IMHO the player is great! Sound quality is really good. To those who previously wrote on this… Of course, the built in speaker is crap, it’s a “mini” player… what are you expecting it to sound like, duh? The head phones are ok, better then the ones that come with the iPod (IMHO). However, I’d still buy head headphones you prefer for comfort.

Touch screen:
It doesn’t respond perfectly every touch. Sometimes it takes a touch or two extra to respond. On occasion, the response time is a little slow. I haven’t had to press hard, not once.

Build quality is fine. I accidentally dropped it about 3′ and it didn’t hurt it at all. It’s *very* light, made with thick plastic & metal.
I’ve been listening now for a few hours and battery is about 3/4 with just about all my MP3’s at 320kbps.

I haven’t tried the radio…. why would I want to? LOL I didn’t buy it for video’s either but it works fine… I tried the demo movie. Pictures look great.

Over all it’s a great touch screen 8 GB MP3/MP4 player for under $[...]!!! Lets see, do I want to spend $[...] or $[...] for an touch screen iPod or $[...] for same function & sound?

Received quickly. Down sides no instruction on how to use any of the products. The clear plastic frame with easel like stand was the most frustrating to figure out. Was afraid of breaking it. Once on loved it but had a hard time getting it off and bent it doing that but still usable. Like the black sleeve and ear buds.
Already had charger that works better (fits)one that came was hard to put on and off the ipod. Havent tried the car charger. What I really bought it for was the leather (faux) case now afraid to try with the magnets in it. Reading other reviews it had done damage or wiped out info. Trying to get confirmation from Apple if it is really a problem (have a family member that works for Apple)I think it is a good bundle for the money .

Of course the iPod Touch is fun! However, some of the apps that I loaded don’t work unless I am in wi-fi zones. Living in a rural area doesn’t lend itself to ready wi-fi. Although I read the descriptions of the applications, some of them just didn’t say that they required the internet. So, my main warning to new users or potential buyers is to be aware of this limitation. Not having a camera also makes it less of an all-purpose media tool/toy.
